"We are pleased to welcome East-West Technology and their experienced and capable staff into the Stork Materials Technology Group," said Stork Materials Technology Chief Executive Officer Charles Noall. "EWT has an exceptional portfolio of capabilities and an excellent reputation nationally, with over 30 years of testing behind them. Product testing is a significant growth area for us; the addition of EWT and their expert testing engineers will enhance our ability to meet customers’ needs for state-of-the-art analysis and evaluation of their parts, products and systems."

Transfer of ownership takes effect March 30, 2007. The new acquisition will continue to operate in its current location at 15814 Corporate Circle, Jupiter, FL, with no interruption in service. David Lichtman, founder of EWT said, "We've worked hard and succeeded in building EWT from a small lab into a national leader in product testing and evaluation. Stork is also leader in our field—nationally and internationally—as well as in materials testing, failure analysis, and other specialties. I think that joining Stork's larger and broader network of laboratories, experts, and services will benefit everyone—our customers, our employees, and the organization as a whole, and I'm pleased to be a part of it."

"Even in a global economy, location matters," said Stork Materials Technology Chief Operating Officer Charles Noall. “Our plan is to make superior materials and product testing readily available to more of our customers throughout the U.S.A. We were impressed by EWT’s pioneering work in product evaluation in this region of the country; as Stork EWT they will continue to provide the exceptional, state-of-the-art services that they’ve provided for the last 40 years, and they will also fill an important role in the Stork laboratory network."
