Stork FDO B.V. verzorgt themabijeenkomst van Contactgroep Fractografie: Falen of presteren? Omgaan met het proces corrosie! Hierbij willen wij u op de hoogte stellen van de bijeenkomst die de Studiekern Corrosie en de Vereniging Metalen, contactgroep Fractografie organiseren op woensdag 12 maart bij Stork FDO, Czaar Peterstraat 229, 1018 PL Amsterdam.

"Spanningscorrosiegedrag van 17.4PH in de agrarische industrie" door Michiel Groote Schaarsberg, Stork FDO BV.
Voor weegsensoren had de producent van kunstmeststrooiers gekozen voor 17-4PH omdat dit preciptatie hardende roestvaststaal verkrijgbaar is in een hoge sterkte kwaliteit. Tevens zou door de goed corrosievastheid de weegsensoren met een gepolijst oppervlak ingezet kunnen worden, waarbij het uiterlijk ook na enkele nog steeds glimmend zou zijn. Echter, na één jaar gebruik zijn diverse schades in het veld gemeld. |

"Corrosiekennis aan corrosie onderhevig" door Mascha Ludoph, KWA
Het kennis en expertise niveau in de industrie is aan erosie onderhevig. Aan de hand van corrosieschade aan een luchtkoeler en een condensaatkoeler wordt toegelicht dat het vaak ontbreekt aan basiskennis met betrekking tot corrosieprocessen. Met voldoende kennis van verschillende corrosieprocessen hadden die wellicht voorkomen kunnen worden. |

“Overzicht van corrosie-vermoeiingsgedrag van AISI316 en nikkelbasislegeringen” door Jaap Sinte Maartensdijk, Emerson Process Management Flow BV
De Coriolis massadebietmeter meet direkt massa door gebruik van het Corioliseffect wat opgewekt wordt met een in trilling gebrachte buis. Het gedrag van deze meter in corrosieve media en een praktijk schadegeval in zwavelzuur met de invloed op corrosie-vermoeiing van concentratie, temperatuur en stromings snelheid van het medium wordt besproken. |

“Materiaalkeuze voor filterbuis toe te passen in vervuilde grond” door Erik Schuring, ECN-Engineering & Services
Aan de hand van theoretische overwegingen wordt een advies gegegeven voor de materiaalkeuze van een filterbuis. De buis moet een levensduur van meer den 50 jaar hebben en is na ingraven niet meer toegankelijk voor reparatie of onderhoud. |

"Tension Corrosion Behavior of 17.4PH in the Agrarian Industry," by Michiel Groote Schaarsberg, Stork FDO BV.
For weight sensors, a producer of artificial manure sprinklers had chosen 17-4PH, because this precipitated hardening rust-fixed steel is available in a high strength quality. Because of its good corrosion consistency, weight sensors with a polished surface can be used, which would be glowing external also after some threats. However, after one year of use, damage in the field has been reported.

Knowledge and expertise in the industry are liable to erosion. Corrosion damage to an air cooler and a condensate cooler demonstrates a lack of basic knowledge concerning corrosion processes is prevalent. Knowledge of various corrosion processes could prevent this. |

“Overview of Corrosion Wear of AISI316 and Nickel-based Alloys,” by Jaap Sinte Maartensdijk, Emerson Process Management Flow BV.
The Coriolis mass flow meter measures the mass flow rate and density of a fluid flowing through a tube. The behaviour of this meter in corrosive media and a practice claim in sulphuric acid with the influence of corrosion wear on concentration, temperature and flowing speed of the medium will be discussed. |

“The Choice of Materials for Filter Tubes Installed in Polluted Ground,” by Erik Schuring, ECN-Engineering & Services.
Tubes installed in polluted ground must have a life span of more than 50 years because once installed it is no longer accessible for repair or maintenance. By means of theoretical considerations a recommendation will be presented of the selection of materials for filter tubes. |
